Distribuzione e habitat
Il genere è presente nell'isola di mwfqPemba (mwfgTanzania), nelle mwfwisole Comore ed in mwgaMadagascar.cite-ref-powo-1-1[1]
Le specie del genere crescono dal livello del mare sino a 2200 m di altitudine, mostrando un elevato grado di adattamento ecologico.
